8.5oz glossed black candle tumbler

Candles are all hand poured in small batches in Marietta, Georgia

Burn time: 40-60 hours

Made from all natural coconut soy wax , with eco friendly wooden wick

Fragrances we use are parabens , synthetic dyes, phthalates free, infused with essentials oil.

Candle care:

Trim wick 1/8” – 3/16” prior to lighting

Burn until wax melts evenly to develop a melted wax pool to prevent tunneling, not exceeding 4 hours at a time

When you are ready to relight your candle after the first use, make sure the candle  is completely cooled and the debris from the wick is removed before relighting

Keep the flame on the wood wick lit until you see red embers starting to form, it could take up to 1 or 2 tries to keep the flame on the wick to light.

 Safety:

If smoking occurs, extinguish flame, trim wick, and relight

To prevent fire or staining, burn on heat-safe surface

Stop burning your candle when only 1/4” wax remains

Do not pick up a burning candle or immediately after it’s been blown out

Do not leave unattended and keep away from children and pets

 How long do your candle burn for?

Our 8.5oz burns for approximately 40-60 hrs, burning times are best achieved when candle care for instructions are followed

 Why coconut wax for candles?

 We choose to go with coconut wax for our candles because it is a renewable source. We blend it with soy wax, because coconut wax is too soft to be used on its own. Using coconut wax burns evenly, cleaner and slowly.

 What ingredients are in soie candles?

Soie candles are hand-poured with a coconut wax blend, with natural essential oils, phthalate free fragrances oils, no dyes and wooden wicks. We handcraft every candle, with the highest quality of fragrance and materials.

Do I need to trim the wick?

Yes! Trimming your wick is very important. It will keep the candle burning without any black soot and giving your candle a longer burn time. The best way to trim the wick is to use wick trimmers. Test burns have already been conducted to determine the proper width and thickness of the wooden wick , so all you have to do is make sure you trim the wick for maintenance!

 How do I take care of my candle?

Trim wick after each use , this is very important!

For the first use, burn for at least three hours till the entire liquid surface had turned to liquid wax

No returns on the candle

Why is my candle releasing black soot?

Left untrimmed the wick can cause black soot to appear on the jar, to stop that follow these steps:

Trim your wick before each burn

Don’t burn your candle for longer than 4 hours

You can clean the soot off the inside with a paper towel and little water, make sure your candle is not lit and the wax has solidified.
